Camping in the Heat

The last couple weeks I’ve traveled from Texas to Florida. It probably wasn’t my smartest plan to travel to the south in the summer but it was definitely a learning experience. Florida is a beautiful state, so green and lush, with so much more wildlife than I ever expected. During my time here, I have seen monkeys, alligators,…

Thunder

Thunder! That’s what mom calls it but I’m pretty sure it is a bomb or big foot. You know, we were having a great night, I was chewing on a bully stick and mom had her maps and books out and then all of a sudden, out of nowhere, the sky turned really dark and…

Red Canyon is My Favorite

Yesterday was another National Park day, there are a lot of those out there, I think we went to Bryce Canyon. It looked cool from the car window but like every other National park that’s all I get, except the Grand Canyon! I just had to stay above the rim so the Grand Canyon is…

Arizona to Utah

As the classic country tunes from Blackhawk, Tim McGraw and Reba played on the CD player (yes CD player), we drove passed the Grand Canyon one last time. Saying goodbye to our new friend as the snow lightly drizzled down and clouds once again covered the blue sky. I continued my drive towards Page, Arizona. The…
