So today marks the one year anniversary of the day we left on our life-changing adventure. I had set out from the beginning to create one last video that shows are favorite places and some other highlights but after the devastating and shocking loss of my copilot, Franklin, in November, I just couldn’t bring myself to sift through the footage. I guess in my mind, this trip died with him.
But it’s now been five months and although the pain can be dibilating at times, it has gotten easier. I felt I owed him one last hurrah, I mean we did take these ridiculous selfies for a reason!
So with that said, one last video to celebrate him, to celebrate this one year mark, to celebrate the adventure that changed my life on so many levels. Enjoy!

Krissy, I followed the journey and the journal of you and your wonderful sidekick Franklin. Franklin is now imbedded in my memory as The immortal friend and guardian of you. I as a lover of dogs and journeys awaited each installment of your adventures. In time you will develope a need to have another pal, but it will take time. I mourned my boxer for a long time but now I have a sweet little maltese.
Thank you for the joy you brought to us.
