A Look Back – Week 20

Most Breathtaking – Great Smoky Mountains

Coolest (Worth a Trip) – Asheville, North Carolina

Most Surprising – How green everything is… and rainy… wait am I in Oregon?

Favorite Little Town I Have Never Heard of – Asheville, NC wins this, I’ve heard of it but it is still my favorite with breweries and a cute walkable downtown area.

Most Uncomfortable Moment – A tree branch fell off a tree about 100 ft up and landed within 10 ft of Franklin and our tent, he was terrified and begged me to let him hide in the car.IMG_3223

Biggest Achievement – I changed my own car battery without it blowing up in my face!

Highlight – Watching the elk come out before sunset and graze in the pastures, very peaceful.IMG_6585_2

Stranger Hero – The girls at Asheville Brewery that loved on Franklin so I could use the restroom… it’s the little things

Hi Krissy – loved seeing these pictures. This brought back memories, though we didn’t camp, Vince and I stopped in Ashville, NC to spend the night on our own round the USA trip 3 years ago…a lovey little town. We found several places in North Carolina very lovely and serene. Wonderful to see and hear of your adventures. Take good care…Julie Manipon
