Swimming

Finally a day of freedom and by freedom IMG_0769.JPGI mean, Swimming! Mom and I went to a place called Success lake early in the day so we had lots of time to run around, swim and roll in the dirt.  Yesterday was a long day in the car, which I don’t mind because the cold air is blowing and I am laying on 4 inches of comfort, Mom calls it memory foam. So if that is the alternative to swimming in lakes or rolling in snow, I will take it.

I disappeared for little bit today. Mom freaked out because I saw the water and the tall grass and one thing was on my mind, GET IN THAT! I mean it was 90˚ out, I was hot!  So I did… She was screaming my name for awhile, up to her knees in this horrible grass. I felt bad, it took me a long to find her and she was pretty peeved at me. Especially after she had to lift me up a huge boulder because I couldn’t climb it myself on our morning hike and during one failed attempt, I fell on top of her and she bruised her hand. Sorry mom…  That tall grass though was stuck everywhere! It was awful, not sure what kind of grass it was but mom was pulling it off me for hours until she finally decided to pull out the scissors and give me a much needed hair cut.  It’s getting really hot and my fur coat is just too long and thick right now… She brushed me, which I love, and she cleaned my ears out, which I hate. But I’m feel really good right now and I’m ready to crawl into the memory foam and go to bed.

    Kristen,

Not sure if responding to you goes back to you or to a generic web address. I hope this gets to you. I really enjoy reading about your travels and think you should consider putting all of these into a book when you finish.

I have to admit that I was impressed at the picture that Franklin took of you the other day jumping into the air, but now to see that he can also write is truly amazing!

    Take care.
